I feel bad about what happened... If we look hard enough, most all of us can find some ware in history where some of our family has been done wrong by the government... The white just move on,The black seem to want something for it...
I have an uncle that spent 14 years in prison for something he didn't do, they let him out and and said "so sorry"... Does that mean the government owe me something for doing him wrong ? NO, if anything they owe HIM...My family won't ride this for the next 200 years...
But if I were black,Then the Government would owe me and my family for the next 200 years...

it is just something passed down from a long time ago.... for a while it was glamorized within the black community beginning with the counter culture movements during the later part of the 20th century. in the 1980's and 90's it became glamorized in the white community as well. why do blk men (mostly) use it with each other.... well, because it is something of a way of not losing completely. it's like the moral equivalent of a counter attack for being in the inferior position to whites and others. not in terms of identity but just a way of having some degree of separation or rebellion.

I'm of Irish background. Some of my ancestors were enslaved. And even a hundred years ago they used to tell prospective employees Irish need not apply. All countries had some form of slavery until fairly recently, and the slaves were generally white, people sold for debt, prisoners captured in war, etc. Its all in the past. No one owes anyone for events that far in the past.

There have been (and still are) slaves of many colors. I use the term "color" as we are ALL one race, the human race as it is. We are all just in different "colors" or skin pigment types.
As far as slavery, there have been "white" slaves in the not so distant past. Whites have used whites as slaves in the past, as well as people of color. I've seen it still exist in very rural southern areas where those who have mistreat and look-down on those who have not.
