Thanks for the advice. That sounds exactly like something I'd want to do, but it is a small town and we do want to remain anonymous. There are bigger towns an hours driving could get us to, but I know nothing about them.

Alternative approach...

Well, if she would be more at ease with you by her side, the other way to handle it is to hang out at the bar as a couple and start chatting up some guy.
