I've seen these for sale on-line. Wondering what people think of it. If a wife was to wear something like this in public in the Southern U.S., would she attract unwanted negative attention? Would anyone even notice. Would some people be offended? Just wondering what everyone thinks.

Reminds me of the porn series with old white guys wearing Confederate shirts and fucking black girls :)

Great as a fantasy and when acted in private, but I don't really think it's good for public.

There are lots of people in the deep south, as well as elsewhere around the U.S. (although fewer), who — in their own minds — are still fighting the civil war. Looks like it's designed to appeal to them.

Hard to say. It would attract attention because it's scanty, especially if it were accompanied by a scanty bikini bottom. My guess would be, any overt positive attention the design... as opposed to the scantiness... attracted would tend to be from politically-conservative white males, while the design would tend to attract negative attention, possibly covert, from black males and politically-liberal white males (if there are any of the latter in the deep south).

Yes.

Probably.

Speaking of this sort of thing: I read a column in my local newspaper a while back in which the author, a white man, stated that a history professor he knows at a well-known university told him that whenever he teaches his course in American history, prior to covering the civil war he asks his students: "Who won the civil war?" He then said there is always at least one student in the class who replies, "The south" (meaning, the southern confederacy of slave-holding states). Is that far-out, or what...?
