In two parts:

After you download both of them to your desktop and after you verify that the icons look like a stack of books.......
right click on the FIRST one (important to click on the FIRST one) and then a drop down menu box will appear. Then scroll down to 'extract here' and LEFT click on that.
Sit back and let it unrar. A new icon will appear on your desktop and that is the complete movie file. Right click on that and select open with VLC player. (you already have the VLC player)
After you verify that it plays ok, you can delete the two rar files.
It's simple.
