how to post pics that are to big

How do I post pics that are to big is pixel size. Since the pics I am trying to add are larger than 640 pixels wide and 480 high.

There may be an easier way of doing this within this site, but I usually resize my pics at
http://bigwebpages.com/big/resize.html . It's a free service and straight forward.
