We're going to simplify the process when we can get to it, but for now you just hit the new thread button, then click on the paper clip looking icon on the right hand side of the top row. You choose your file and upload it, then decide whether you want to display it 'inline', which means right in the body of your post, or as an attachment to your post. Either way is fine. Once we get all the possible file extensions in the system and a simpler upload process, we'll start having some contests to see who makes the hottest submissions, maybe with cash prizes!
