Newbie wife going away to a conference

Been a while but another short update. It’s worth mentioning here that we occasionally do chastity play. Mostly on nights like this, when she’s out and I’m home alone, and tonight was no different. I usually initiate by volunteering to lock myself, and she either unlocks me when she gets home, or tells me when I can release myself before she goes to bed (kids are still young enough to arrive unannounced, so even semi-permanent play isn’t possible). Tonight was no different to other nights, so to prove I wasn’t in bed watching porn (even though I totally was), I told Louise I was behaving. Then I proved it.

Final messages…
A few nights later we were in bed and I asked her how much of what she said was true, and, sadly, she said none of it. I told her again that I wouldn’t have minded if she’d been friendly with someone, and asked if there was anyone that she had fancied, even if she didn’t act on it. Again, she said no, which is not what I’d hoped, but I told her again that if the opportunity ever presents itself, she could go for it if she wanted.
And so conference season is over. We had fun (I think), but Louise didn’t manage to find a date. I’ll keep gently trying in the future, Christmas parties are coming up, maybe she’ll let her hair down then…

Friday night was Louise’s work Christmas party. All her department went to a local restaurant after work and, judging from the photo she sent, it was about 85% ladies so chances for fun were limited. After lunch she messaged me to say a couple of the were heading off to a local cocktail bar for a drink. Knowing she’s more submissive than assertive, I challenged her with a message saying “I bet you can’t get a guy to buy you a drink”. Half an hour or so she called me from a cab:
“The cocktail bar was a washout. There were only two other people there, and they were on a date. They had one cocktail menu, and couldn’t make half of the things in it. I’m coming home.”
So that was that. Christmas party season came and went in the blink of an eye. I keep bringing the subject up occasionally when we’re in bed, but there’s a fine line between keeping the idea fresh n her head and sounding obsessed. Further updates as events warrant…

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but it looks like conference season is upon us again, and Louise might be away at the start of July. She’s not off to the beach this time, but she’ll be away and food and drink will be flowing.
Over the next few weeks I think I’ll restart the “have fun at the conference” conversations and see what happens…
