Hotcopl, that is a real mil uniform but he is not wearing it right so do not worry about it too much. I had the same thoughts, enlarged the pic and got more info. I was in Navy (US) for 8 years and saw a lot of other Naut unif. I will not say more because if you do not think I am credible, saying more will not change that. Does not matter. Thanks for bringing it up. Sure hope he is enjoyyying it all now though.
