we learned by trial and error...our very first..and last time we went to the Bahamas and stayed at the Holiday Inn there....very expensive to stay and even worse to eat...there it was either beach or gamble..that's it!
so our next time we went to jamacia..Montego Bay...and found one of the highest price places there was still cheaper than the Bahamas so we took it...you wore an wrist band....meals were free...they had snack bars to cook you a burger...right on the beach and still had a pool/hot tub and a lot of other things...all in all best deal by far...and with that wrist band on the locals know you are at one of the better hotels and seem to hit on you more.......rented a taxi and went to Dunn's river falls and saw the sites...river rafting....etc...of course by then she met a friend who escorted us with his friend who owned the taxi.....she banged them both twice during the day!....went to Kingston...it was alright..but not as much to see and etc...cheaper..but just not as much fun....then you have Negril...we didn't stay there and I hear it is pretty "open"....but she got all she wanted in Montego bay!
a couple of the Negril spots are purely clothing optional...walk out of your room naked...through the hotel right to the beach! But I understand they are pretty strict with the locals there and don't want them hitting on the guests.....you can hit on them....
