vtjames742 - I think some people do not want it said that Africans held slaves. Many want people to think that only the white men were responsible for slavery. I am a cajun. We were kicked out of France and then Nova Scotia to avoid persecution for our way of life. So we settle in the swamps of Louisiana and live life to the fullest. Fuck them other countries. People talk about slavery all the time and blame the white man and the south for slaves. Many forget that New Jersey was the last state to release their slaves. Oh yes the north did have slavery also. No body talks about that. Africans today are still involved in slavery and if it doesn't work then genocide is done. So where are the African Americans at that always talk about slavery but yet do nothing to stop their ancestors from being killed or their heritage from being wiped off the face of this earth. But then again I doubt that 75% even know of the heritage or what tribe they belonged to but these same people will call themselves African American.
Well women of all races and ages are sold and traded in human trafficking to this day, as well as throughout history, predominantly by men. I read a a stat that stated that there are more than 4 million such women in the world, and as high as 20+ million. Does that mean men should be constantly paying reparations to us?

Actually the descendants of the slaves owe both the East Africans and the Americans. Had the East Africans not captured and enslaved them, and the early Americans not purchased them, they would still be in West Africa. For most, that means they would be poor, hungry, victims of corrupt governments and ethnic violence. They would live in largely undeveloped nations plagued by wide spread AIDs as well as a myriad of other diseases that are rampant in undeveloped areas of the world.

And before you try refuting it try to remember Africa is more than EIGHT times the size of the United States... They were called serfs and they had nothing from the time they were born till they died. They were super religious, superstitious, ignorant, overworked, not paid, and drank from the same pond that their goat would shit in. They lived in small quarters and there was a law called primo nopti which sometimes allowed royalty to fuck your wife on the night of your wedding. Then if they tried obtaining any type of freedoms...the king simply gave their (leased) land to another if he didn't decide to starve them out or set their roof ablaze. The church did very little except to rob them of their cattle and send them on ridiculous wars... at some point in the early 1800's the lower classes of england and germany were pushing each other out of the way for work breaking their backs to dig ditches for the equivalent of $2 today... couldn't buy anything with it.
The sad thing is many of them came to the new world and passed on the hatred and resentment to the darker peoples here. Some of you seem to still have a little bit of that in you. I'm just telling you to get off of your high fucking horses because you're not that much better than anyone!! peace out.

This country is built on so many different nationalities and cultures which makes this nation a great nation. But always saying one group should pay for what was done in the past is not right. Our culture is more prosperous that both those countries. France is a nation of spineless cowards, and if it wouldn't been for the American people making sacrifices, those fools would be speaking German. It is about resentment and hatred... how else can anyone possibly explain your never ending rants about fatherless black babies and black women on welfare. Yeah, it sucks ass and I agree with you that there are a lot of black men that deserve a good punch in the face with regard to how they're not raising their kids. We have no one to blame but ourselves.. Got that! Loud'n'clear! Now I honestly do not know what brings some people here to IR... i'm more puzzled than a blind pilot with an old chinese lookout.

There is no reparation to be payed, look I cant blame modern italians for colonicing Eritrea (my father country) or the germans for invading Italy during the middleages. If I did that I would be totally insane. It's just like I blame you for the dead of Elvis. Crazy isnt it?
