Just to recap per my understanding:

Alexis discovered her husband had visited Dark Cavern. -- And was shocked. ("My goodness how long has this been going on!")

She surfed the site, --was still shocked futher--and registered as a member and posted a thread, soliciting advice.

After roughly 3 weeks of ignoring advice that she needed to talk to him about it, she then says she will mention it to him--and post back the response. A day that she said could change her life forever? Still not update on that conversation.

One has to wonder how that conversation would have gone for most of us:

Wife: Honey, I noticed on your computer that you went to an interracial sex site. Why are you going there?
Hub: Because it has hot photos of white women getting black dick. I think it's hot.

Sounds like a real life changer to me.

This is a classic case of a non-problem being mind-fucked into one by dwelling on it.

If the husband hitting a porn site is causing any wife to take three weeks to work up the courage to mention it I would suggest that that couple seriously needs some professional marriage counseling on open communication-- and not the kind we offer for free in these forums.

So here is where I'm at.

I got scared when I found this site on the computer. I didn't know guys would get off watching their own wives have sex with someone else. I first thought they must not love them anymore or whatever. But I never really knew if that's what he was into or not, I just jumped to that conclusion because I was afraid that it MIGHT be that.

Also , a lot of people have mentioned communication. For the life of me I don't know why I didnt just ask him!

Now I feel like I'm almost the bad guy here. Maybe he's just looking at some porn is all, and here I not only jump to all these conclusions, but I start a thread here and ask OTHER PEOPLE about our situation instead of asking HIM!!!

my advice is let the matter slide.

lets assume for a second he is totally into the fantasy of seeing u with a black man alexis.

The fact he has never even hinted to u , that he wants to see u have sex with another guy, would indicate strongly that ur husband is just not ready to share this fantasy yet.

It could also mean and personally i think this is more likely, that he just isn't that into it all as much as u assume he must be.

So do your relationship a favour, spare yourself the angst and spare husband alot of embarrassment by just letting it slide.

I do have some big news about my situation, but another time maybe. I came here to post my news, but now I think I'll just ask a question for now instead.

It's not just my thread, but I've seen this in lots of others as well. OK, the question is, why do so many people here try so hard to be the one to say "AH HA, FAKE THREAD!!! I KNEW IT!!! BECAUSE OF THIS AND THAT, BECAUSE OF THAT AND THIS, IT'S GOT TO BE FAKE!!!

Being fairly new here, I'd really like to know. Are there a lot of people who post lies? Is there some kind of prize for finding the most "fake threads"? Is it the old "class clown" mentality, trying to get a laugh at someone else's expense?

Everything I've said here is true, and I thought at a site like this people would at least believe me. Have I acted logically over all this? I don't think so. Have I handled this in the best way or the way most people would have? Probably not. Have I lied about anything? Yes. Sort of. I sign in as Alexis, which is not my real name. Ah, but I've already mentioned that. I was even truthful about my phony name!

Oh well, I guess I just don't get why so many people here have so many doubts.

I agree Will. I don't know what the fascination is with calling someone out. What do you gain if it is true? Make you feel good? Gain power over someone? We're assuming of course that EVERYTHING that's ever been posted by the caller is accurate and aboveboard.

I read a lot and take most if not all with a grain of salt. I just wasn't raised for confrontation.
