afraid this computer has about had it.... keeps getting slower and slower here lately... I delete cookies after everynight...but I also know they are still stored on here someplace.... cost me a BUNCH last time to have this thing cleaned.... pages and pages of.. mostly pics... there is a way of deleting all that and it runs like new.... should have paid attention as to how they did that... hate to pay a couple hundred to have it done again... but either that or get a new computer... which is what I really need to do.... but just bought a new laptop for my son before I sent the oldest off to college

If you don't mind losing all your stuff, then a clean re-install of your OS is the way to go. Or you could back up the good stuff on a flash drive or external HD and just put it back yourself.
You might even try switching to a different OS (assuming you have windows?). I use linux on my older laptop that's now just used for web browsing and it doesn't snowball with garbage the way Windows does. It's about 6 years old and been to hell and back (aka college) and it still runs almost as well as it did when it was new.
